Mapping of Links between the Business and Learning and Skills Sectors
Business links with schools by company
Business links with schools by school
Business links Chafford Hundred
The Partnership recognised the need to map the links between employers, schools and colleges and undertook its first mapping exercise in 2004.
The aim of this exercise is that we should refrain from approaching employers, particularly SMEs, if we can see they are already working with another school.
Recognition of the contribution already being made by an employer avoids the same employers being continually approached and helps maintain goodwill between all parties.
Trident, Education Business Partnership and all organisations under the Link-Ed umbrella also take this information into account.
It is recognised the list is not comprehensive and never can be even with regular updating but it has proved valuable in our relationship with business.
