We are fortunate in having excellent companies in Thurrock keen to support the development of their staff and the work related agenda for young people. Thurrock Business Forum and Thurrock Learning Partnership collaborated to produce Virtual Tours of ten companies within 3 key sectors in Thurrock to give an insight into the reality of the world of work today. Production of the Virtual Tours was funded by Thurrock Business Forum. Each Virtual Tour includes video clips of staff interviews covering a whole range of occupations from trainees to Managing Directors, panoramas of different scenes from the workplace with voice over as well as a picture gallery and some text about each company. All the staff used their own words in the interviews and did their interviews in one take - a remarkable achievement. Click on the link to take the tours. You will need speakers/earphones. |
