Thurrock ACE run a training programme called ‘On a Learning Curve’, that supports groups and individuals in becoming more active in their local community. The trainings are free and informal and cover a range of subjects that are designed to build confidence and enhance existing skills. Thurrock ACE also has joint responsibility for the ‘geton2geton’ community learning bus, which is a mobile class room that is equipped with 10 computers stations and provides residents the opportunity to access computer course within their local community. |
