The ACE (Active Citizenship Entitlement) Partnership
The ACE Partnership offers free learning opportunities for voluntary and community groups. The ACE Partnership is about supporting communities to help themselves. It offers courses on the practical skills which community groups need as well as providing friendly first steps back into learning.

Palmer's College
Palmer's is a college that specialises in full time courses for 16 - 19 year olds. It also offers a range of adult courses.
The College is situated in Chadwell Road, Grays, Essex and has an outstanding record of examination success with consistently high pass rates at all levels. Many students choose to go onto higher education each year, whilst others make a successful entry into employment or onto specialist training courses.

Thurrock Learning Campus
It’s the newest Campus in Essex and since January the Thurrock Learning Campus has been giving students, of all ages, opportunities to learn right in the centre of Grays. Prior to the an iconic new building scheduled for completion in 2012, a bespoke modular building has been opened to provide more opportunities for learning in Thurrock.
Anglia Ruskin University
As well as offering a range of programmes at its main campuses, Anglia Ruskin University, as a partner in Thurrock Learning Partnership, works closely with other partners to develop higher education programmes to meet local employment needs and which can be delivered in Thurrock. An example of this is the development of the Foundation Degree in Logistics and Transport delivered locally in partnership with the Academy of Logistics and Transport and Thurrock & Basildon College.
Open University
If you want to study for a degree but want to study at home, via email or study weekends, the Open University is for you. Over 600 people in Thurrock are currently studying with the Open University in this way. Thurrock & Basildon College also has an Open University Study Centre at its Nethermayne Campus.
